Porcelain crowns, often called caps, are placed onto damaged teeth to restore function and form. A Crown is often necessary when there is no longer sufficient tooth structure left to place a filling. A dental bridge is a fixed prosthesis used to replace one or more missing teeth. This is a good option when a dental implant is not feasible.
