Preventive Fillings and Sealants
Sealants are bonded into the grooves of hard to clean back teeth to prevent cavities. Preventive fillings are necessary when stains have already developed in the grooves of the teeth. These stains need to be removed prior to placing the filling as they can progress into a cavity.
